The Florida Mako's will be donating part of the proceeds from the City of Legends Charity Golf Tournament to the Limbs for U, a prosthetic company in Gainesville that helps those in need. Also, the Florida Mako's will be speaking at local schools about "Cowards are Bullies" Program that many schools across the U.S.A. are taking part in to end physical, verbal, and cyber-bullying. The Florida Mako's hosted a FREE Kid's Basketball Camp the week of Aug. 16 - Aug.20 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Newberry Sports Complex in Gainesville, Florida. The Florida Mako's will be hosting many charity events and other events this year in/near Gainesville, Florida and will donate part of the proceeds to local schools, hospitals, charities, etc. The Florida Mako's are excited to be a part of Gainesville, Florida and want to get involved with the community.
